Euro coins

This is a section about Euro, this new currency who will be available in circulation (Coins and notes) in 2002. This is how it's going to work. There will be one common design for all countries. On the other side will be available for all country, so everyone will do its own design. All coins will be in circulation in all country, so it will be possible to buy a book in Paris with a coins minted in Italy. There will be 12 stars all around nation design, one star represent 1 country. However, banknotes will be the same everywhere. At the moment, we know 12 countries show up their national design but other country will decide if they will do their own design (Vatican...) There's a lot of unknown design at the moment (Sweden, Greece, Denmark...). These countries have been accepted in Euro. Some other countries show up interrest for being part of Euro (Monaco, San Marino, Andorra...). We can see national design of the following countries:
